The wife of Manchester United playmaker Angel Di Maria has taken to social media to insist that her husband is happy at the club.
Jorgelina Cardoso posted on her Instagram account:
‘You are free to think whatever you want, but in fact, Angel is absolutely happy of being in Manchester United… Buenas noches!!!’
Di Maria arrived at Old Trafford from Real Madrid at the end of this summer’s transfer window for a British record £59.7M.
And despite some impressive performances for his new club, his future has been open to debate.
Former United and England midfielder Paul Scholes has stated that he thinks the Argentine is not happy in England.
