AFC Bournemouth striker, Calum Wilson is already in the wishlist of a few Premier League clubs but latest reports claim that Lys Mousset is also being targeted by another London side, Fulham.

Chelsea and Liverpool have registered strong interest in Eddie Howe’s starting forward, Wilson and bookies have already handed the Blues 2/1 odds of landing the 26-year-old. However, with interests rising for Mousset as well, concerns are starting to grown among the Bournemouth faithful and more so than ever in Eddie Howe’s mind.

Regarding the rising interest in his players, the Cherries manager said, “It sounds like we’re going to be left with no strikers at this rate!”

He further added, “…(Mousset is) a big part of our future.”

Lys Mousset was signed from Ligue 2 side, Le Havre in the summer of 2016 for £5.4m. He did take a fair bit of time to settle into life at Dean Court, mostly being used in the cup competitions or as a substitute.

Howe has rewarded the youngster with more playing time in the Premier League this season as he continues to develop into a starting role. Mousset has managed to strike just once this season in the 3-0 Carabo Cup win over MK Dons.

Bournemouth also has the veteran Englishman, Jermain Defoe in the squad as a striking option but Mousset is understandably ahead of him in the pecking order. It is highly unlikely that Howe will let go of the France U21 international, should Wilson leave Boscombe in the coming transfer window.
