Blues boss wants reunion with Arturo Vidal
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is plotting a move to reunite with Arturo Vidal at Chelsea.
The Blues are still looking for a central midfielder with an attacking edge, and his work with him at Juventus could persuade him to sign at Stamford Bridge.
Vidal is the new choice for Conte after Chelsea refused to meet the £51million asking price for Roma’s Radja Nainggolan.
Chelsea are looking a very attractive club at the moment, with Conte having lead them to 12 straight wins in the Premier League.
The Sun says the Blues are poised to table an initial bid of some £34 million for Chile international Vidal, and although Bayern could demand nearer to £40 million it adds that they “can be confident of luring Vidal to Stamford Bridge.”
