Antonio Rudiger has asked his teammates to come with a better performance when they host Fulham on Sunday.
High flying Chelsea couldn’t keep their unbeaten tag intact as their London rivals outplayed them in the last match. Tottenham Hotspur pumped in three goals past a hapless Blues keeper to inflict a first defeat on the West London side.
Sarri has made a very good start to his Premier League but Chelsea looked pretty ordinary in the London derby last week. With Fulham back to winning ways in the last match, Chelsea need to be at their very best to grind out a win against their former manager.
Rudiger emphasized on putting up a good show against the newly promoted side. “It’s difficult to tell [what went wrong] because sometimes you have one or two players that are not in good shape but it was the whole team.
“It was a bit weird. It’s hard to explain but, if you play like this, you deserve to lose.
“I can tell you know so many things but it’s just excuses at the end of the day. The only thing I can say is that we have to see this as a very big and hard lesson and move on.
We have to bounce back. It’s clear. We have to show a reaction.”
