Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender has revealed that he would be interested in a move to the Premier League, but no contact has been made from potential suitors Arsenal.
The midfielder has been eyed up by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for some time, but the Gunner’s are still yet to make a move for the German star.
And now Bender has alerted Arsenal after admitting he would be open to a move to Premier League and says he is desperate to make an impression next season to make any move happen.
The 25-year-old has admitted the Premier League is the only foreign league that would interest him should he leave Germany.
However, as of yet, Arsenal are yet to formalise their offer in the player.
He told kicker: “I know my skills, and others are also aware of them. When I am fit, I also want to play.”
“Nobody has contacted me yet.”
“What can I say about those rumours? What is being reported in England is just rumours.”
“I really like English football. Outside of the Bundesliga, it would fit my style of play best.”
“Should I ever consider a move, the Premier League would be the only league coming into my thinking.”
