Romelu Lukaku’s agent Oscar Darmani Jr has insisted that Chelsea will not allow their forward to leave on another loan-spell elsewhere.
Various reports has suggested that Lukaku has fallen out of favour with boss Mourinho and would be allowed to leave on loan to Spanish side Atletico Madrid, in an attempt to push through a deal for Diego Costa.
But Lukaku’s representative has revealed that no loan move away from Stamford Bridge will be on the cards for the Belgian forward, and has admitted the possibility of Lukaku surprisingly signing a new contract at Chelsea.
He said: “Chelsea doesn’t want to loan him out.
“He has two years left on his contract and we would normally look at extending it shortly.”
“Did I see him after the match against Russia? Yeah, he was pretty quiet but he is a player who doesn’t have anything to prove.”
“Of course, the World Cup is the World Cup. I’m sure he’ll bounce back in the next game.”
