Arsene Wenger will attempt to bring Mario Gotze to the Emirates in the summer.
The Bayern Munich winger is considering his future options, after stating his “displeasure” about how things have gone at the Allianz Arena.
The German international joined Bayern Munich from Dortmund for £32 million fee, however he has failed to make his mark upon the squad.
Gotze has scored 15 times since his move, but stated to German media.
“Of course I am not happy (with first-team action),” Gotze said. “But I will continue to work hard and fight for a place in the first XI. “I hope I am able to regain the trust of the manager and play regularly from the start.”
This has alerted Arsene Wenger, who is set to table a bid in the coming weeks.
