Arsenal have finally agreed a fee to sign Real Madrid midfielder, Sami Khedira, according to reports.
The Gunners were monitoring Khedira all Summer, along with Chelsea, but neither London club could agree a fee with Madrid for the German midfielder, but according to reports, Arsenal have agreed an £11million deal in principle with the Spanish side.
Khedira’s contract with Madrid expires next Summer and the club are desperate to sell him beforehand so that they can make money from him, and it looks like they are willing to take £11m, despite wanting over £20m during the last transfer window.
It’s believed Arsenal will offer the midfielder a contract worth £140k-a-week, making him one of the club’s highest earners, and he will become the fourth World Cup winner in the Arsenal camp.
Final agreements will be discussed in the New Year, but early stages suggest that a deal will take place in January once the transfer window re-opens.
