Arsenal and Liverpool’s primary target has decided to join Italian giants.

PSG superstar has left the French club and decided to join AS Roma.

Javier Pastore leaves Paris Saint-Germain to join Roma.

The Argentine has made the move in a reported €20m deal after seven years in France.

PSG announced the move via the club’s official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon and thanked the Argentine for his services after he ended a seven-year association with Paris Saint-Germain to join Roma.

The midfielder underwent a medical on Tuesday before signing a four-year contract with the option for an extra year.

Pastore has won 19 domestic trophies since joining PSG for a fee of €43m from Palermo in 2011, but also suffered injury setbacks. He was heavily linked with Arsenal and Liverpool for most of his career.

Pastore about his Roma move:

“I did not think that this day would ever come, but it is now time to say goodbye”.

“I would like to thank all of the Parisians, who welcomed me magnificently and made me feel at home for all of these years…. Seven years is a very long time, yet it is also not enough, in a way, because I would have liked to have given you even more.”
