Arsenal are preparing to make a January swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic.
Mandzukic only joined the Spanish La Liga club in the summer from Bayern Munich, but has been rumoured to swap capital cities, and join the North London side, who are keen to do a deal swiftly.
Reports in Spain have suggested that Arsene Wenger is set to spend £25 million on the Croat, who has netted 14 goals this season for Atleti.
However, Mandzukic could see his current starting place come under threat, with the re-signing of Fernando Torres, something that Arsene Wenger is looking to use should a move arise.
