Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla could both miss crunch Champions League game
Arsenal could be without star duo Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla for their vital Champions League game with Olympiakos in Greece at the beginning of December.
The Gunners will travel to Greece knowing they need to win by two-clear goals to stand any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
However, they could have to do that without Alexis and Cazorla after the duo picked up knocks against Norwich City yesterday evening.
Injured Duo
Alexis was substituted after hurting his hamstring, which is likely to rule him out for around three weeks, while Cazorla received a nasty kick on his knee which left him playing the remainder of the game on one leg.
Sadly for Arsene Wenger he had already used all his subs so he couldn’t remove Cazorla from the match.
Arsenal play Olympiakos on the 9th and it’s looking likely that both will miss the trip.
As for Laurent Koscielny, who was also injured during the 1-1 draw with Norwich, he could be back in time.
