Could Pato be Arsenal’s first signing in January?
After being caught in a injury crisis Arsenal Wenger could turn to the January transfer window to strengthen his squad.
Arsenal are still within contention for the Premier League as well as the FA Cup and Champions League.
Pato was discussed with former player Edu Gasper, who is now the technical director at Corinthians.
“I wasn’t there to tout him around but if people ask about him, I’m going to answer,’ said the former Arsenal midfielder.
‘I talked and they asked questions – not just about him, but about a few of our players. They know them well.
‘I had lunch with Arsene Wenger and he asked about [Pato] and about others.
The striker started his career at Ac Milan where he failed to make an impact before moving to Corinthians in 2013. Since then the striker has made it clear he would like to return to europe to apply his trade.
