The Gunners are targeting the duo after being rebuffed by Dynamo Kiev in their pursuit of Austrian Aleksandar Dragovic.

Northern Ireland international Evans has spent his entire career at the Red Devils, apart from loan spells at Royal Antwerp and Sunderland.
Smalling arrived at United in 2010 from Fulham, and has fifteen caps for England.
