Milan: After five years of misery Milan have a good advantage of qualifying to the next round of the Champions League with 4-0 result in the baggage. The team is feeling very well and playing with a lot of confidence. Rescent results in the league have also put milan into the pole position of becoming the Serie A champions of the 2011/2012 campaign. The team is flying to London with good results and with one of the worlds best strikers in front, Mr. Ibrahimovic. The teams last peformance against Palermo looked very good and they totally penetrated the sicillian side.

Rescent Results in the league:

Cesena – Milan 1-3

Milan – Juventus 1-1

Palermo – Milan 0-4

Arsenal: Despite injuries and a heavy defeat in the first leg of the Champions league and the Fa-cup vs Sunderland, Arsenal may be at their best this season. RvP is dominating with his goals and Wengers seems to have find a way to motivate his players, and it actually   seems like he is succeeding. An excellent second half peformance vs Spurs and a very smart way of pulling the strings against daglish gave Arsenal 6 out of 6 points in the rescent two league games. This morning Gibbs told the media that the team is confident in turning the game around into Arsenals favour. Is this really just a way of calm down the fans? Or have Arsenal already admitted the defeat? Who knows! We shall see..

Rescent Result in the league:

Sunderland – Arsenal 1-2

Arsenal – Tottenham 5-2

Liverpool – Arsenal 1-2

Lineup Arsenal:Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Rosicky, Song, Benayoun, Walcott, Van Persie, Gervinho

Lineup Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Mexes, Silva, Antonini, Emanuelson, MvB, Nocerino, Robinho, Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic

After evaluating the two injured teams, I can honestly say that I am very confident that Milan will make it to the next round. They got bigger players, in very good form. I think the biggest reason of this is the Strikers vs the Defender match!

Arsenals RvP is definitly worldclass but he is up against the best defender in the world, Thiago Silva.

Ibrahimovic who is also at the same level as RvP is up against good defenders “Vermaelen and Koscielny”, but they aren’t at the same level as Silva, Mexes.

To sum it up I think the difference between the defenders is taking the game in to Milans favour.

Result: 2-3 Milan

Forza Milan!
