Arsenal could be closing in on a deal for Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang with the news that he has missed training with Borussia Dortmund.
The striker missed the club’s first training session of the year and the German side claimed it was due to “personal reasons.” However, many believe the real reason is because talks are currently underway about a potential deal to send him to the Emirates Stadium.
Speculation is rife that the in-form 26-year old is close to agreeing a £42m deal to join the Gunners and if that is the case, then it would be a huge January deal.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also expressed an interest in signing the Gabon international but the reports are claiming Arsene Wenger’s side have won the race for his signature and a deal could very soon be done.
