Arsenal push for Reus once more

Reus looks increasingly likely to leave the Signal Iduna Park at the end of this season and possibly before the end of the month, with a number of European clubs interested.

The Bundesliga star recently turned down a new contract offered to him by Dortmund and will be looking for a move within the coming year.

Arsenal are believd to be in the lead to sign the winger and now Spanish newspaper Vozpopuli claims Reus held talks with Arsene Wenger earlier this summer over a potential move.

The paper goes on to say that talks went well but the Gunners postponed any bids due to the injury the Dortmund man was suffering heavily from, but they are now ready to begin the pursuit once more.

It won’t be easy for Wenger’s side to sign the German international due to the competition they face from German champions Bayern Munich, as well as Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
