According to reports, Arsenal have reached an agreement with Serie A side Juventus which will see striker Mirko Vucinic join The Gunners until the end of the season.

It is understood that the striker will fly to London today and hold official talks with the clubs before taking a medical and completing the six-month loan move.

The Montenegro international was always set for a January exit from Juventus after falling down the pecking order behind Carlos Tevez and recently Fernando Llorente, but it was expected that he would join Inter Milan with Fredy Guarin going the other way, but that deal fell through.

Now a loan move to Arsenal is in place and all Vucinic needs to do now is give it the green light and then the transfer process can begin.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been desperate to land a new striker and after failing in the Summer, his intentions were clear that a loan move in this market would be ideal for him and would help lift the workload from Olivier Giroud.
