Arsenal are ready to bid up to £25million for Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata as Arsene Wenger prepares to spend big in the Summer in order to strengthen his team.
The Gunners were linked with the Spaniard in January, and a loan-move was discussed throughout the month, but come deadline day, nothing was formalised and Wenger missed out on his main-target, which could end up costing Arsenal the Premier League title.
Recent reports have claimed that Morata and Arsenal have agreed personal terms over the move, which will be a permanent switch, they just need to agree a deal with Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti.
It is believed that the La Liga side want around £25million for the young striker, but a move is something Morata is desperately interested in so that he can play more regularly.
Official talks over a transfer fee will start at the end of the current season.
