Arsene Wenger is set to make a summer bid for Benfica winger Rodrigo.
Reports in the Daily Star suggest that Arsene Wenger is set to table around a £24 million deal for the player.
However they face stiff competition from Spanish La Liga side with Valencia, as they have an odd third party clause with the player himself.
Arsenal will have to act swiftly in order to tie up a deal for the highly rated youngster, who spent the second half of the 2010/11 campaign at Bolton Wanderers, during their Premier League days.
He was previously at La Liga giants Real Madrid, before signing for the Portuguese side Benfica following his Bolton Wanderers loan.
