The 17-year-old left-back has been snapped up after impressing the Gunners’ coaching staff during a trial spell at the club.
Chatzitheodoridis had been playing for local side Mas Kallitheakos in his native Greece, but was also training part-time in Arsenal’s Greek academy.
Staff their spotted his talent and he was dispatched to London for a trial.
That has now paid off, with Greek media reporting that he has signed a two-year contract with the north Londoners after impressing with performances against quality youth team opposition, including Real Madrid’s youngsters.
He will play for the Gunners’ youth team next season.
