Arsenal have been dealt an injury blow after hearing the news that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be sidelined until 2014 after suffering a set-back in his road to recovery.
The pacy winger suffered a knee injury on the opening day of the season which left him ruled out for a couple of months, however, the news coming out of the club is that the Englishman could be out until the new year, which will leave him rushing to gain fitness for the Summer World Cup.
Chamberlain has been told by the club’s medical team that he will not be able to join first-team training until mid-December, which will see his recovery date pushed back as well, which will leave him fighting for a place in Roy Hodgson’s plans.
