Arsenal will attempt to snatch goalkeeper Petr Cech from London rivals Chelsea this summer and sign Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.
It is two of three big sigings Arsene Wenger is targetting to ensure Arsenal challenge for the title next season, as their long wait for a league title continues.
Cech would cement his place as number one, ahead of David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny, while Schneiderlin has been a target for several top clubs in England, including Liverpool.
It is not yet known whether Chelsea would allow their 32-year-old reserve keeper leave Stamford Bridge for a close London rival, but that will not stop Wenger trying to lure the Chelsea legend to the Emirates.
Arsenal scouts have been monitoring Borussia Dortmund’s Neven Subotic also, but they are yet to submit a bid to the Bundesliga strugglers.
