Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is ready to sign yet another starlet from FC Barcelona, and his name is Sergi Samper.
The 19-year-old, who is being labelled as the new Cesc Fabregas, has been on Wenger’s radar for the past few years, and with the teenager struggling to break into the first-team in Spain, Wenger is finally ready to make his move.
Samper has a £9.6million release clause in his contract, and it’s believed that Arsenal are already prepared to match that in order to sign the midfielder.
Arsenal have already signed Fabregas, Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin from Barcelona, and Wenger is confident that he can add Samper to that list when the January transfer window opens.
