Arsenal are ready to renew their interest in Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain.

The Gunners were close to signing the Argentinian back in the Summer of 2013, but after choosing to pursue Luis Suarez instead, Arsene Wenger missed out on signing the striker as he eventually joined Serie A side, Napoli instead.

Rafael Benitez’s side forked out ÂŁ32million for Higuain, who signed from Real Madrid, and since then, he has been a real hit in Italy, sparking interest from Liverpool and also FC Barcelona.

However, according to reports in Spain, Arsenal are now ready to renew their interest in the 26-year-old as Arsene Wenger eyes more striking power.

Wenger is also being linked with Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain.
