Gunners want to beat Premier League rivals to Real Madrid star

Arsenal are putting together a package in order to sign Real Madrid star Isco and could offer as high as £35million.

The Spaniard is considering his future away from the Bernabeu and is desperate to quit the club in the summer after acknowledging he won’t ever be Madrid‘s first-choice number-10.

Isco is behind several players in the pecking order at the Bernabeu and his game-time has been limited ever since completing a move from La Liga rivals Malaga.

English Interest

The attacking-midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all interested, but according to reports, it’s the Gunners that are in pole position.

With injuries mounting at the Emirates Stadium, Arsene Wenger is ready to dip into the transfer market in January, and Isco has been a long-term target for the Frenchman.

Arsenal are currently without Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott and now Alexis Sanchez in the attacking positions.
