Saturday afternoon saw one of the greatest ever team goal’s take place and it was then followed by four more well-taken goals.

Arsenal produced a stunning display and backed it up with four superb goals with helped them ease past Norwich City, despite them scoring a well-taken goal themselves.

The game ended 4-1 to the hosts and here is some match reaction from yesterday’s encounter.

Arsenal goalscorer Aaron Ramsey:

“I was expecting [to be rested], but Mathieu Flamini came off and I enjoyed it, getting on in front of home fans and getting back to the top of the league. Hopefully we can stay there.”

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger:

“We won 4-1 and their keeper had a good game. But I think as well that Norwich played well, so it is strange. They made it difficult for us. We had a difficult period between 30 and 60 minutes where we struggled a little bit to keep our game going. I would come out of the game thinking Norwich is a good team.”

“It was certainly one of the best [Arsenal] goals, one that I enjoyed the most as well because it was a team goal. It had combinations and the speed which you always like your team to play with, unfortunately it doesn’t happen always. This one was a mixture of technical quality, speedy thinking, quick reaction and as well being calm in front of goal. It had nearly everything you want to have, combined speed and calm and relaxed attitude. It was a great goal.”

Norwich manager Chris Hughton:

“We were well in the game and at half-time we felt that if we had good periods like we did in first half, we could get something from the game. But they have wonderful players who, when they have half-chances, can turn them into goals.”
