Reports indicate Arsenal are preparing to make a shock move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul, the north london giants have already had a 10-12million pound offer rejected for Newcastle Midfielder Yohan Cabaye and a bid for another one of Alan Pardrews players will only irritate him even more.
Arsenal have had links with Tim Krul before, especially back in July when it was reported that Wenger sees Krul as a goalkeeper he can trust for many years and challenge the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, recent in-form Wojciech Szczesny has had no real competition his whole career and Tim Krul would do a great job of providing that.
Kruls current contract with Newcastle runs out in 2017 and it is reported a bid of around 10million is what Arsenal will be offering.
