Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that forward Theo Walcott has undergone surgery and the results came back positive with the operation being very successful.
The Englishmen pulled out of the club’s game with Stoke City on Sunday after complaining about abdominal pains and after the game, Wenger confirmed that the injury was a mystery and they were unsure on what the problem was.
However, Walcott was then sent to Germany to have the operation and Wenger believes he could be back in time to face Norwich City at the end of next month.
“Walcott had surgery and it went very well.
“He’s coming back (from Germany) Thursday so it’s what we expected, there were no complications.”
