Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes his side have reconnected with the fans over the last year or so, and that is why they are back to their best.
The Gunners are top of the Premier League coming into the New Year and they are also still fighting in the Champions League and the FA Cup, and on Saturday during their cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur, which they won 2-0, the fans at the Emirates Stadium were as loud as ever.
After the derby-day victory, Wenger spoke to the club’s official website and he revealed that he is delighted to have the fans back on side after a couple of frosty years.
“I feel it and what is happening is there is a connection again between the team and the fans,” he said.
“They look to be on the same wavelength and that was not the case last season and to get that back is is very important.
“To have that strength at home will be vital until the end of the season.”
