Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be running a scouting mission during the World Cup in Brazil this Summer, as his quest for a new striker continues.

With reports in the air suggesting that The Gunners are ready to re-sign Carlos Vela from Real Sociedad, Wenger is clearly not happy stopping there as he plans to sign one of three strikers which he will be monitoring throughout the competition.

It’s believed; Bayern Munich and Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic, AC Milan and Italy striker Mario Balotelli and Real Madrid and France striker Karim Benzema, are the three strikers which Wenger will be scouting this tournament, and a formal bid is believed to be in the pipeline for one of them after the World Cup ends in July.

Some reports are suggeting that Arsenal’s new kit sponsors, Puma, are trying to help the club sign their main-asset, Balotelli from AC Milan in order to make shirt sales, but Wenger is still keeping his options open with three big-named stars all continously linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
