Chelsea ready to sell Petr Cech

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is prepared to sell number-one Petr Cech, in order to keep Thibaut Courtois at the club.

The Blues are fearing the fact that the Belgium shot-stopper could decide to walk out on the club permanently this Summer, after spending three seasons away on loan with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid.

Courtois has made it very clear that he will not return to Stamford Bridge unless he is guaranteed first-team football, and has insisted that he will leave if he’s only offered cup games.

This has made it an uncomfortable situation for Chelsea, as their ideal plans were to keep Cech in goal for one more season, and then replace him with Courtois for the 2015/2016 campaign, but it appears that that deal wouldn’t satisfy Courtois.

The 22-year-old is desperate to keep playing frequently so that he can improve his game, and it’s believed that Mourinho is set to believe in the Belgium, by making him his number-one for next season, and selling the club veteran.
