French side AS Monaco are ready to bid for Manchester United defender Patrice Evra after he future at the club becomes more and more uncertain.
The French international has spent eight seasons at United and is now the club-captain at Old Trafford, but ever since David Moyes has taken over in the Summer, his future has become unclear as Moyes is desperate to bring in Leighton Baines from his former club.
If reports are to be believed, Baines could be on his way to the champions in January and that could pave the way for Evra to move back to his homeland.
However, despite United’s pursuit of the English full-back, it is understood that Moyes and co. do not want to sell Evra as they want the depth still at the club.
Although, the left-back’s contract is about to run out in Manchester and this could mean that Monaco could persuade Moyes to sell-up in January in order to sustain a fee from the transfer.
