Paris Saint Germain are set to test the resolve of the new Newcastle backroom regime with a bid in the region of £20 million for star midfielder Yohan Cabye.
Cabaye, 27, signed for Newcastle from French club Lille in the summer of 2011 for a bargain fee in the region of just £4 million.
Cabaye is reportedly unhappy with new director of football Joe Kinnear after he was accused of referring to him as ‘Yohan Kebab’ during a recent interview and a move to Paris may prove too good to turn down with the promise of Champions League football.
Fellow French side Monaco may also be alerted to the possible sale of Cabaye, and Newcaslte may decide to cash in on their want away Mercenaire
