The final three Nominees for the 2015 FIFA Ballon D’Or Award have been revealed for the 2015 Ballon d’Or and there are no surprises that it’s between Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo. The three are on fire in Spain representing FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, with Neymar making the final three for the first time.
It’s a familiar feeling for both Messi and Ronaldo, as they’ve finished in the top three for the majority of the time the Ballon d’Or has been running.
FIFA Ballon D’Or Previous Winners
This will be the sixth time it’s been given out, and Messi has been in the top-three every single year, with Ronaldo missing out just once, the first official ceremony.
Messi won it three times in a row from 2010 to 2012, but the past two awards have gone Ronaldo’s way, with Messi finishing runner-up on both occasions.
Will Ronaldo make it a hat-trick? Or can Messi claim the award back?
Neymar will be hoping to win his first Ballon d’Or after reaching the final three for the first time.
