Barca are pressing ahead with a move for the shamed Uruguay star and believe they can get him on the cheap.
Despite not being able to play or train until the end of October after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini, Barca still want Suarez.
But Nou Camp chiefs are wary of the 27-year-old committing a similar offence again.
Barca are ready to offer Suarez a £160,000-a-week five-year deal.
And the La Liga club are thought to be insistent on a ‘bite clause’ that would punish the striker should he misbehave on or off the pitch.
Liverpool want £80million for Suarez but Barca will start talks by offering as little as £25m.
Chile star Alexis Sanchez could be used as a £25m makeweight in any deal, which Barca want to top at £50m.
