Barcelona and Liverpool have reached an agreement over the transfer of Luis Suarez.
Suarez will travel to Barcelona in the coming days or so to undergo a medical before signing a five year deal and being presented to the awaiting media and supporters at the Nou Camp.
The two clubs had been locked in discussions over the player’s future for several weeks now, and have finally agreed to a £75 million fee for the Uruguay forward.
27 year old Suarez is currently serving a four month ban after biting Giorgio Chiellini in a World Cup game between Uruguay and Italy last month, and it is understood that he will continue to serve that ban in Spain.
Suarez leaves Liverpool in disgrace for the large fee, however, he did score 31 Premier League goals for the club last season, and finished as the League’s leading goal scorer.
