Barcelona have reportedly paid the €120 million buyout clause for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.
According to L’Equipe, Barcelona have paid a sum of €120 million for Griezmann who announced his decision to quit the club back in May.
Ever since Griezmann left Atletico Madrid, Barcelona are the favorite to sign him. Griezmann was on the brink of signing for Barca last summer but decided to sign a new contract at Atletico instead.
Recently, Atletico Madrid claimed that Griezmann was having talks with Barcelona while Atleti were taking on Juventus in the Champions League. The club wanted Griezmann to turn up for pre-season training. However, now it looks that the Frenchman will sign for Barcelona.
With Griezmann signing for Barcelona, it seems highly unlikely that Neymar will be able to make a return to Camp Nou.
