According to reports, Barcelona have told Ousmane Demebe to find a new club. Dembele was on the bench for Barcelona’s last two Champions League fixtures. Some reports claim that he was on the bench for the match against Inter Milan because he arrived at a team minute 25 minutes late.
Dembele has played 12 matches for Barcelona this season, including appearing in all La Liga matches. He has scored 5 goals and has provided an assist.
Dembele joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund on a transfer fee of €145 million. He could not contribute much in his first season due to injuries. Despite Barcelona bringing in Malcom in the summer, Ernesto Valverde has favored Dembele. However, now, Barcelona have allowed him to leave.
If these reports of Barcelona telling Dembele to find a new club are to be true, then Chelsea and Arsenal will be eager to rope in Dembele. Arsenal have shown interest in the French winger for several months. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang played with Dembele at Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal will surely use this to their advantage.
