Harry Wilson believes Derby County can stage an upset when they face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
Manchester United were made to pay for their mistakes by Frank Lampard’s side as the Rams edged the Red Devils in a penalty shootout to set up a date with Chelsea in the fourth round.
Lampard is currently Chelsea’s highest goal scorer and has the highest amount of respect and regards for the club where he spent his entire football career. The former English midfielder took up the job at the pride park this season and has had a pretty good outing so far guiding the club to the final playoff spot in the Championship table.
Wilson who is currently on loan from Liverpool has been extensively used by Lampard so far and is expected to make a start at the Stamford Bridge. Wilson said, “It was almost like it was made for him, wasn’t it?
“I’m sure he’ll enjoy going back to a club where he had such a successful career.
“But we’ll be going there full of confidence and will play our football looking to get a result. Winning at Old Trafford gave us a lot of confidence, and we’re going to Stamford Bridge to get a similar result.”
