According to reports from the Daily Star, Barcelona are willing to make a £200 million bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane in the summer. The Blaugrana are in need of a new striker at the moment. Luis Suarez has been doing well for the club so far but approaching 32, Barca may consider finding a replacement for him.
Harry Kane has established himself as one of the most lethal strikers in the world through his performances for Spurs in the past few years. In 233 matches for the club so far, Kane has netted 153 goals. This season, Kane has made 21 appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals.
Kane’s current contract with Spurs ends in 2024 but the club may have to sell him due to the costs incurred in the construction of their new stadium. However, they won’t sell him at a price lower than £150 million.
Provided Barcelona do sign Kane, it their attack will undergo a massive fortification. Additionally, a move to Barcelona may also increase Kane’s chances of lifting silverware.
