German news outlet, BILD understands that Florian Neuhaus has committed to Adi Hütter at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Previously reports claimed that the prodigious midfielder could be on his way out of BORUSSIA-PARK this very summer.
Bayern Munich hold a long-standing interest in him and the German giants are known to pluck out the best talents from the league to continue their domestic dominance. Even Liverpool are stark admirers of Neuhaus whose release clause is said to be €40m.
Neuhaus also revealed that he is close to making a decision. He said, “Borussia is a club where I was able to develop excellently and where I have everything. I know what I have with Gladbach. Of course, I also read that there is a lot of speculation. But I don’t see my future as open as many others.”
Gladbach has their plans set for next season even if a few players opt out. Neuhaus is an integral part of their side. His overall ability to hold on and distribute possession is greatly valued.
“We are in contact with all the players. Yes, players will leave us after this season,” said sporting director Max Eberl. “But nobody has to worry that we won’t have a very competitive team again.”
