Former PSG winger David Beckham has expressed his desire to play with Kylian Mbappe.
Had Beckham still been a player at Paris Saint-Germain, he has stated that he would have wanted to have Kylian Mbappe as his teammate. Mbappe recently completed his 100th goal mark for the Ligue 1 reigning champions and Beckham was definitely impressed, marking him down as an ideal teammate.
Beckham told Telefoot of his admiration for the France international: “I would have loved to be still a player now, because playing with a forward like Kylian would have been a dream to me.
“You put the ball anywhere in front of him and he gets it.”
Beckham added on Mbappe’s unique qualities on and off the pitch: “What struck me the most, was to see how he was humble, he had his head on his shoulders.
“What made me love him even more, because I already appreciate him a lot; is his personality.
“[He is a] humble, talented and a special person. To see someone so young with so much talent reach a bar that high, it’s very special, for him, for the club, for his family and also for the supporters.”
