Belgium forward Christian Benteke will link-up with his new Liverpool team-mates on Wednesday after finalising a £32.5 million pound deal from Aston Villa.
The hit-man will undergo a two-day medical in London after the Reds met the buy-out clause in his Villa contract.
It is understood that the medical will begin this afternoon, running into tomorrow where the player is expected to finally seal a move away from Villa Park after weeks of speculation.
The player had also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, but is all but set to become a Liverpool player for the upcoming Premier League season.
