Daley Blind is set to complete his move to Manchester United in the coming days after being given permission to talk to the Premier League club.
The versatile left-back has been linked with United throughout the summer, and with the transfer deadline close, its seems that Louis Van Gaal has finally made his move for his countryman.
It is understood that Ajax have accepted an offer of around £14 million for the player, and have left Blind out of their squad for their match vs FC Groningen signifying a move.
Blind will now travel to England and agree personal terms with United, and willl put the Red Devil’s spending through the £200 million pound barrier.
Boss Louis Van Gaal has used his relationship with the player when in charge of the Netherlands international team to persuade Blind to move to Old Trafford.
The left-back will become United’s fifth summer signing in the coming days.
