Blackburn Rovers ace Bradley Dack has had his say on his side’s draw against Newcastle United in the FA Cup clash.

The player scored the first goal of the match, which was cancelled out by Matt Ritchie late goal from the spot.

Blackburn Rovers ace Bradley Dack has said that his side were unfortunate not to win their FA Cup contest against Newcastle United. The player scored the opening goal of the match only to see it being cancelled out by Matt Ritchie as he converted from the spot to set up a rematch.

Speaking about the outcome of the match, Dack said, “I don’t score many with my head so it was nice to see that one go in.”

He added, “It was a brilliant ball from Benno. He said to me afterwards that he will keep feeding me the ball and I will put them in. It was lovely to score at that end, and I think we more than deserved it at the time. We probably deserved to win the game overall but it wasn’t meant to be, so it was a tough one to take.”

The Blackburn player concluded, “Coming to a Premier League side and at a stadium like this, I was really keen to play. It was nice to be picked, and hopefully I did myself justice. As a player you want to play in stadiums like this and in front of crowds like this. You relish it, and naturally step your game up.”
