Brazilian striker completes loan-deal
Chelsea Football Club have announced the arrival of Alexandre Pato on a short-term loan deal.
The Brazilian international will stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season after signing a six-month loan contract.
Pato arrives from Brazil club Corinthians, and has arrived as a potential replacement for Loic Remy, who has been linked with a move away this month.
After signing for Chelsea, Pato spoke to the official club website, and he revealed his delight at signing for the Premier League champions.
Pato said: ‘I am so happy to sign for Chelsea. It is a dream for me. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know my new team-mates and cannot wait to play.
‘I thank Chelsea for their support and hope I can repay this faith to the club and its fans.’
