Keylor Navas will go in the opposite direction
Real Madrid will sign Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea in a deal which will see Keylor Navas go in the opposite direction.
It broke earlier that the two clubs were in advanced negotiations regarding the deal, but the La Liga side were still unsure on whether they wanted to be involved in a player-swap saga.
However, Navas agreed to the switch and it’s just been confirmed that Madrid have also given the green light, which means De Gea will now complete his expected move to the Bernabeu.
Sky Sports News have broken that the deal is one and Navas will move to Old Trafford as part of the deal, but as of yet, no official fee has been reported, but it’s believed to be around £30million.
The news puts an end to the drawn out transfer saga that started at the end of last season, and it finally sees De Gea get his dream move to Real Madrid.
The Spaniard hasn’t played for United this season with Louis van Gaal picking Sergio Romero over him, and it’s apparent that he has played his last game as a Red Devil as he looks set to finalise a move back to Spain.
