BREAKING: Leicester City confirm new manager

Shakespeare will stay until end of season

Leicester City have confirmed that Craig Shakespeare will stay on as manager until the end of the season.

Premier League winning manager, Claudio Ranieri, was sacked by the Foxes just two weeks ago, with the team flirting with relegation.

Shakespeare took charge as a temporary cover, but won both of his games so far against Liverpool and Hull 3-1, and has therefore been given the job until at least the end of the season.

He could endure the role into next season if he manages to keep the club in the Premier League this season.

Roberto Mancini, Roy Hodgson and Nigel Pearson were all names mentioned to be in contention for the job, but it is Shakespeare who will have the role for now.
