Sakho is a Crystal Palace player
Liverpool have completed the deal to send Mamadou Sakho to Crystal Palace on loan.
The news may come as a shock to Liverpool fans, with the club thought to be refusing to budge on their £20million asking price for the exiled central defender, but it has turned out that Sakho has been allowed to go on loan.
It’s taken Crystal Palace all day to nail down, but the deal is done and Sakho is on his way.
There have been concerns over his attitude at Liverpool, and he has not played for the first team at Anfield since April 2016.
He has been playing with the under-23 squad to maintain fitness, but now will get Premier League playing time at Selhurst Park.
