Furious Edinson Cavani offered PSG escape by Chelsea and Manchester United.
Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is considering his future at the club. He is ready to trigger a transfer battle between the Premier League’s top clubs, according to reports.
The Uruguayan, who has been in sensational scoring form once again this season, has become gradually more disillusioned with life at PSG following Neymar’s record-breaking arrival.
The two players were involved in a tussle over spot-kick duties at the start of the season and that animosity still lingers. Cavani was also unhappy to be subbed off in the first leg of PSG’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid.
Le Parisien reports that Cavani is so upset at PSG that he is ready to leave in the summer. He no longer feels at home at the club, or important.
PSG would be prepared to let him leave if they received an offer of €60 million (£53m). That has alerted both Chelsea and Manchester United to his availability, while he also has admirers in Spain.
